Kayde Moore, PA

Kayde is originally from Sylvania, Georgia. She received her Associate of Science degree at Young Harris College in Young Harris, Georgia, graduating with honors. She then attended Berry College in Rome, Georgia and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor. After graduating from Berry College, she worked for the Cardiovascular Institute of Georgia in Statesboro as medical receptionist and medical support staff while applying to Physician Assistant Programs.

Kayde earned her Master of Physician Assistant degree in September 2014 from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. During her time in the MCG Physician Assistant Program, she served as an elected ambassador for the program and as class Vice President. She was also inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society for qualified Physician Assistants. She is an NCCPA certified Physician Assistant.

Upon graduation from Physician Assistant school, she started working with Dr. Moran in Hematology and Oncology performing initial consultations, established patient follow up care, and helping to diagnose and treat all cancer types.

Treating cancer is not just about treating a malignancy. It is a physical and emotional journey for each patient. As oncology providers we must provide an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, and a positive force even through the most difficult times.
